Three places to find Zen in the Canadian Rockies
Even if you are good at balancing your busy schedule and finding zen in everyday life, sometimes we all just need that well deserved time off to relax and recharge. For those who love traveling, there is no better way to explore your inner self than taking a trip away from home. When thinking of places to connect with the spiritual realm, why not discover what the Canadian Rockies has in store for incredible views and conscious living. Here are the top 3 places to find your Zen in the Canadian Rockies.
1) Cranbrook, B.C.
The City of Cranbrook is the Kootenay Rockies' largest city, nestled in a valley between Kootenay National Park and the Purcell Mountains to the west. It offers an abundance of Zen filled moments from hitting the links at the St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino to stand up paddling with your furry friend on one of the several lakes in the area. Finish your day off by grabbing a pint at Fisher Peak Brewing and you'll feel recharged in no time.

2) Crowsnest Pass, AB
Did you know that Crowsnest Pass is home to the Crowsnest Community Trail, a 23-km, non-motorized route connecting the communities of Crowsnest Pass? Grab a friend, a bike (or an e-bike) and cruise along dreamy paths with epic views of the Canadian Rockies. While you are out riding, make sure to stop in for an ice cream from the Old Dairy Ice Cream Shoppe, before heading over to take in the views of the world famous Frank Slide.

3) Fernie, B.C.
Fernie is the perfect escape from the noise and buzz of big city living. Along the Lizard Creek trail, walk beneath the canopy of towering cedars and spruce while breathing in the fresh air. Finish your adventure off with a slow and calming yoga practice at Essential Yoga Studio, you'll feel like a brand new person in no time.
