The #TakeItToTheLake multimedia campaign resonated with hundreds of thousands of people by creating custom promotional videos and stories, and an engaging and robust social media campaignand crafted by Seekers Media via its ZenSeekers channels and collaborative partners. It showcased the many attractions and activities of the Lakeland Region of northeastern Alberta.
The content campaign was created by Seekers Media, a leading Western Canadian content production and marketing company, for Lac La Biche County, Athabasca County Municipal District of Bonnyville and Town of Vermilion.
“Regional destination marketing, when done in a strategic and collaborative way, can lead to powerful outcomes,” said Jim Barr, founder of Seekers Media and producer for Lac La Biche region’s #TakeItToTheLake campaign. “Through this collaborative marketing initiative, community efforts have effectively driven awareness of Alberta’s northeast as a regional tourism destination.
