On this one-day itinerary, spend the day getting to know the Kelowna region and all it has to offer. Your day starts with a hike and beautiful lake and valley views and learning to about the land, the spirit of Ogopogo and the Syilx First Nations people when you visit the Sncewips Heritage Museum. Regional food and wine round out your visit with a stop at a café specializing in bannock and an Indigenous winery with a scenic patio made for perfect summer days.

Drive: Kelowna is about a five-hour drive from Vancouver - 439.8 km) via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 E

Fly: Hop onboard Pacific Coastal Airlines, WestJet or Air Canada and fly from YVR into Kelowna. Car rental service is available at the terminal.
Morning – Get ready for your day of hiking at Boucherie Trails where you’ll get fabulous views of Kelowna and Lake Okanagan and Rattlesnake Island. Begin at the Boucherie Trails Parking Lot E. Boundary Rd., Westbank, B.C. Get directions here.

Afternoon – Sncewips Heritage Museum, showcases the Syilx (Okanagan) people heritage and history. Open 10 am to 4 pm daily. Located at 1979 Old Okanagan Hwy, Westbank, B.C.
