Cariboo Chilcotin Coast
Sandwiched between the southern region and the North of British Columbia, the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region of the province is made up of three distinct regions – the Cariboo, the Chilcotin and the Coastal Regions.
The Cariboo region the place to discover some of Canada’s most defining historical moments and meeting incredible people who are passionate about the wild places they call home. Nordic ski through a forest or paddle across marshes and lakes, where it’s surprising to find another soul. Communities like Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Quesnel have their own charm, and many opportunities to unlock a bounty of outdoor and cultural adventures.
The Chilcotin region is place that evokes images of Canada’s past surrounded by some spectacular natural beauty - from waterfalls to hoodoos. And it’s all just a four-hour drive from Vancouver.
Keep heading west and you’ll be at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. There is a lifetime of exploring to do along this coast rich in biodiversity.
